This privacy policy covers the Flat Stanley application and the web sites located at, www.Flatter (collectively, the "Service").

Use by Children

We are required by law to obtain verifiable parental consent in order to collect, use, or disclose Personal Information from children who are under 13 years old ("Children").

When a Child registers for an account, we ask for his/her Parent's email, and before the account is activated, we require the parent or legal guardian ("Parent") to verify his/her consent by email. By giving consent, a Parent (i) agrees that the Child's online activities are subject to the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and (ii) consents to our collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information collected from the Child as described in this Privacy Policy. Once such consent is received and processed, we will activate the Child's account.

A Parent has the right to review her Child's personal identifiable information ("Personal Information"), which the Parent can obtain by logging into the Child's account or by contacting us directly at After reviewing the Child's Personal Information, the Parent may ask us to update or delete the Personal Information by contacting us directly at

If a Parent chooses to prohibit any future collection or use of the Child's Personal Information, the Parent may do so by terminating the Child's account, and requesting the deletion of the Child's Personal Information by us. Upon a Parent's request, we will delete the Child's account and all the information and data stored for such account. When we delete a Child's Personal Information, it will be deleted from our active databases but may remain in our archives. We will not have any liability whatsoever for any termination of the account or related deletion of the Child's Personal Information.

We may (and the Parent authorizes us to) rely on the instructions that we reasonably believe are given by a Child's Parent. For example, if you allow your Child to use your phone, he/she may create, access and use the Service under your identity, and we have no way to monitor whether such activities are taken by you or by the Child. As such, you acknowledge and agree that we will treat such activities as taken by you.
